Smith Creek Bridge

Almost a century old, this long standing bridge in Wilmington, NC was damaged after a container truck collided with the steel beams above. We were requested by the City of Wilmington to tear this bridge down as it was no longer safe to cross.

This project required careful removal of rusted steel and concrete.

 

Knowing the long history behind this bridge, it was imperative we take extra precaution to ensure all materials were removed piece by piece with tension points secured.
